One Small Room – Lifestyle Branding Photography
Lifestyle Branding Photography for Local Business
One Small Room is a beautifully curated children’s boutique in Squamish, BC and I am so grateful I was able to work with owner Christine Becker on a lifestyle branding photography session.
Christine sources the most stylish, unique and high quality childrens wear with a focus on local, independant and environmentally responsible designers. She’s part of the ‘slow fashion’ movement and for this I have great respect for her and her business.
The shop was initially a mobile children’s boutique and online store which has since evolved into a permanent storefront location ‘On The Farm’ at 1-1861 Mamquam Road which launched in 2013.
One Small Room also carries excellent quality, carefully selected second-hand children’s clothing.
I must say the selection of clothing, accessories and gifts for babies and kids is quite impressive for the tiny 380sq/ft space.
Having been a customer and fan of One Small Room already, I was stoked when I got to chatting with Christine about booking a lifestyle branding photography session. She needed images for her website and social media which aligned with her values and love of the outdoors and also showcased the stylish and high quality children’s goods she sold in her shop.
We planned our session at the near by Mamquam river to create bright and beautiful images that really showcased both the function and style of her selected brands.
Some of the brands featured in this session:
If you have young babes, live in Squamish and haven’t checked it out yet it’s an absolute must. You might discover an awesome new indie brand or score some sweet consignment pieces, plus it feels pretty good to support a local business. And for those further afield, you can shop online at www.onesmalroom.ca
Oh and see if you can spot my handsome twin boys posing in some of the images, I know I’m biased but I think they make some pretty sweet models 😉
That’s all for now!
