It had been a long cold winter. Eventually, the snow turned into rain, but the sun was still a rare sight in Sea to Sky country. This seemed like absolute perfect timing for these two snow bunnies to fly south to warmer weather and celebrate their love in Mexico.
Myles and my husband Brandon go way back. Back to the long summer days of coaching on the glacier in Whistler and drinking beer out of each other’s boots… that’s another story.
After getting to know these two so much better through hanging out with them and photographing their destination wedding, I can now say for real that these are two of the most kind, thoughtful and generous humans I know. They care deeply for each other and for those around them and are both super awesome, beautiful and funny 🙂
Their family and friends travelled from all over to meet them in Mexico to spend a week adventuring, surfing and drinking tequila together. The words spoken of them by their loved ones were all the same. I heard many tales of how each person in attendance has been affected by Megan and Myles in one positive way or another.
I feel immense gratitude that I was able to go and document the fun + adventure with these two and spend some time in the warmth of the sun… all the while it’s pouring down rain back home in Squamish.
Thank you, Myles and Megan, for welcoming me (and my broken-legged husband!) so warmly into your lives, as you entered the next chapter of yours as husband and wife.
